PARIS — The Shincheonji Church of Jesus in France has accused the French daily newspaper Le Parisien of publishing a distorted and biased article that defamed the religious community. In a statement released April 9, the church criticized Le Parisien’s April 7 report, alleging it heavily relied on the one-sided accounts of former members while
